A quick sneaky peek from the long shoot with the absolutely stunning Charley this morning.
Not just beautiful, Charley was great fun to work with and an absolute natural in front of the camera. ;)

New Look for the Website
I’ve not had much time over the last couple of weeks to get out shooting or post anything. My non-photography related work has been keeping me exceptionally busy and I’ve spent most of the little spare time I’ve had winding down in front of my XBox.
However, I’ve not been completely slacking and have now finished moving the website across to a new provider in 500px.com and giving it a new look.
I’ve also got a well earned week off next week and plan to spend a reasonable chunk of that out with my camera, provided that weather allows me to.
I’d welcome any thoughts on the new look and hope that you’ve had a good couple of weeks.

How To Save ‘Addons’ for Use in GIMP
This week’s tutorial is all about the various plugins that you can find around the net for the GIMP package and where to place them on your computer for use.
There are two ways that you can store these various files on your systems to enable GIMP to find them. In method 1, I’m going to be pitching it at a Windows OS (Windows 7 in this case). Method 2 though is equally useful if you’re running a flavour of Linux.

GIMP Plugin of the Week - Vignette Script
A neat little script that creates a vignette based on an active selection and with a dialog box that enables you to edit things like the softness & opacity.
